Judging from the latest analytics reports, there are quite a few more people that are searching kindly these days. So many that we made almost $15 in just one day--not like hitting the lottery, I know, but that's not a bad daily amount...especially since we're still pretty new.
As you can see from the image above, Invisible Children finally received our last payment. I really wish that we were able to give more in the thousands, versus the hundreds, but I guess it's just a matter of time.
Comment from a user--I've had a few comments on this, actually. It looks like the little blurb that shows up under the Search Kindly logo on the results-page is kind of confusing (this is the page that appears when you hit 'Google' on the homepage). A few people are asking, "Everytime I search for something and hit enter, it says that I'm not donating anything." Well, yes, that is what it says, but that's not what I meant. Just by visiting the homepage, you are doing something...that's all it takes. What I was trying to communicate was that if you continue to search on the results-page, then you aren't donating anything. That's because the results-page of your search belongs to Google. So all of the money from the ads on the results-page--that all goes to Google. That money used to be split with us, but that's another story.
So is there anything else to talk about? Hmm...I don't think so. But if you can think of anything, please let me know.
