There have been a couple of questions and comments regarding the WYCC news story, so I figure that this was probably the best place to address all of them. Basically, everyone has been asking about how the interview with the reporter went and what the story ending up being like. I wish I could answer those questions, but being that I don't even own a television, well, I'm probably not the best person to ask.
But that's not to say that I'm not trying to get a digital copy of the piece. Michael, the reporter who put the piece together, told me that he was waiting to hear back from his boss about where he could get a DVD of the story and what, if any, intellectual property issues there might be with posting the video here on Search Kindly. He didn't seem to think it would be an issue (on either front) at all, but he still has to get back to me on things. It's just the way that more established organizations work, you know? But rest assured, as soon as I learn anything, I'll be sure to pass it all on right here.
And about the one of the more recent comments having to do with the ads located just below the menu-bar. The comment said something to the effect of "the big ads under the menu-tree may be negatively effecting our credibility". Hmm, that may or may not be the case--I just don't have any proof on the matter. But the proof is irrelevant because the ads will will soon be pushed down a bit and the thermometer will return to its rightful place right in plain view. There will also be a couple other quick-link buttons right beside it. As you all know, it's only Ramadev and I who are working on things over here, so the only thing is that it might not happen really, really soon. But it will happen. Scout's honor.
Last thing to mention--our donation for the month is kind of low, don't you all think? Could I humbly request that everyone who reads this blog tell just one new person about Search Kindly by the end of the week?
