It's 12:00am on Thurday morning...and we have about 1623 members in the group. That is an incredible accomplishment given that we just started the group up 2 days ago. All the other groups, I'm sure, have been up and at this for at least a couple weeks. But here's the downside to all of this...we're in 15th place right now (the Edge website hasn't updated the rankings, but it should by tomorrow morning.
Now that's not to say that we have no chance at all, especially considering how much interactivity we are showing on our page (good job with all the posts, discussions, and pictures everyone; we're blowing everyone else away in that respect), it's just that we aren't at the top of the board just yet. Fortunately, though, we're not that far off. I think one last monster-push should do the trick. All we need is to make it within the top 5 and at that point I'm fairly confident that we'll easily be able to distinguish ourselves from the rest.
But how to come up with 1500 new members in the next 12 hours? Well, I advised against this earlier, but it seems that we have no choice anymore. Time to go crazy with the Invite a Friend-button. And by crazy, I mean buck-wild. We need some numbers, and we need them fast. So here's the game plan: Please invite ALL of your friends to the group by clicking on the button on the right-side of the page that says "Invite People to Join". The next thing to do is to create an event. The purpose of the event should be to ask all of your friends to invite all of their friends to the group.
