Search Kindly isn't doing to well, as some of you may have already noticed. Our traffic levels are way down. The amount that we are raising is at an almost all-time low. And we still haven't heard back from the IRS. At this point, I don't know what else to day. We're definitely not closing up shop, but we do need to figure out what we need to change.
Being that we aren't able to raise that much any more, we're going to put a temporary hold on the polls. The reason for this is not only because writing checks for $2 and $5 is pretty silly, but also because we need to concentrate on raising money for those who have won polls in the past. Right now, our number one priority is to send off a check to Compassion International. Unfortunately, we don't have enough in the bank to do so--we only have about $700 and we have to send them a check for $817.
Being that our advertising dollars aren't amounting to very much any more, we're going to be switching over to asking you to make your online purchases through Search Kindly. I know that this isn't as easy as just changing your home page and voting every day, but the economy kind of has us on the ropes, so we have to sort of change the game up a bit.
So that's all I have for now. Feel free to post any ideas that you might have to bring us back to life. Sorry that I didn't have better news to share...
