What about supporting Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services...

They have been such a great help to me and my family.... I just want to help find a way to give back to them.

Lexi, I've contacted three of next week's charities. (I couldn't find an e-mail address for the other one). Can I encourage others to do the same, to help boost support and pageviews.

Hey, I was wondering how many people contacted next week's charities? I just sent an e-mail to two of them.

I think you should support Canadian Humanitarian Organization for International Relief.
--Unfortunately, we can only donate to organizations that have tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service of the United States. Sorry about that. --Syed

Hi. Ordinarily I'm happy to glance at the ads that are on your screen. The advertisers are, after all, supporting a good cause. Is there any way, however, to turn off that horrible flashing ad? or perhaps your advertiser could at least provide a warning for epileptics...
--Unfortunately, because of our current size, we don't have much sway with our ad networks. I've tried requesting things like this in the past and what usually happens is that the request goes unheard...or they just cut the number of ads that they send to us. Lousy position to be in, I know, but everyone's got to start somewhere. --Syed

Remote Area Medical is an amazing organization that brings medicine and doctors to remote places such as the amazon. They were recently featured on 60 minutes for the work they do in the United States.

Is there any way you can put the Signing Time! Foundation in some of your polls?
Here's their site: http://www.signingtimefoundation.com
I distinctly remember it saying they were 501(c)3 on their site, but I can't seem to find it now.
However, it they're 501(c)3 here: http://www.thefoundationhouse.org/charities.i

I originally learned about this site from the saddlebred rescue that took place several weeks ago. Now I use it to google whenever I can - it's amazing how the pennies add up. I would like to says thanks for adding animal welfare agencies to the list. With the state of the economy, families and their pets are really suffering.
