How would having to run an email server affect bandwidth? How much would it cost?
--It would actually not effect bandwidth at all--we'd be using one of Google's enterprise applications.--Syed

To Write Love on Her Arms should be an upcoming poll option. It's a growing organization that could really benefit from the help.
--It's actually on the list of charities that we would like to support. Being that it hasn't been given a donation yet, it will definitely be listed in one of the polls this month.--S

I like the idea of the searchkindly email address. I'd be all about it. :)

You asked a question about interest regarding using a searchkindly email address...would doing so mean bringing in more money??
--Unfortunately, we haven't been able to figure out a way for the branded email accounts to generate revenue for Search Kindly, and we probably won't be concentrating too much effort on doing that. Having a Search Kindly email account would basically just be a little reward for those who really believe in what we're all doing here; instead of having some random email address from hotmail or yahoo, for example, you could have something like: mary.smith@searchkindly.org. Please let me know what you think of this idea.--S

I just noticed that we don't have a wikipedia article...we should get on that. Great cause, keep telling everyone about it!
--Yes! That would be great if someone could put together a really nice write-up on Search Kindly in Wikipedia. Although we are listed under the 'Philanthropy' section of Wikipedia, we don't have much more than a link over there.--Syed

Am I the only one who clicked on the link for "We Have Only Today" and got an error message from Mac.com??
--I just noticed that same thing. I wonder what happened to their site?--Syed

do you really only make 1 cent per search? With all the ads on here, im surprised. I'll never use google.com again.
--Actually, we make a little under 1-cent per search. But hey! It's the big picture that really makes the impact. All of the fractions of a cent that are the source of end up being hundreds (and someday thousands) of dollars at the end of the month.--Syed

Research has shown that music education has a strong positive influence on children. It fosters discipline, creativity, and higher order thinking skills. The Colorado Haiti Project seeks to expand its projects in Haiti by establishing a music education program, an effort that doesn't require much money and few willing participants. If for this initiative alone the Colorado Haiti Project should be included in next week's polls.

Music education should be an integral part of anyone's education. Research has shown that music fosters discipline, creativity, and so many other virtues that lead to success academically and personally. The Colorado Haiti Project is looking to expand their projects in Haiti by starting a music program. That initiative alone should be reason enough to put the Colorado Haiti Project in the polls for next week.
