Sarah, as I mentioned in an earlier comment, I think the low donation level can be attributed to the fact that students (who make up the bulk of the SKArmy) are out of school and using the internet less, or not in the huge volumes (ie, library cafes with hundreds of computer and massive user turnover) that they were during the school year

What happened with the Edge contest? Why did it get shut down? What a bummer...

Note: There are actually 2 very different organizations named HeartBeat International.

I suggest considering Heartbeat International; even if you're pro-choice, it's a little hard to deny that mothers with newborn and pregnant women need aid. Perhaps we wouldn't need to have abortion if even child had the promise of being cared for up until age 7.

I noticed the donation level was rather low as well... gotta figure that since the SKArmy consists largely of college students surfing the web at library internet cafes, traffic is going to fall off some during the summer months... FWIW, i told everyone i know about SK, and i continue to use it for my searching needs, but in all honesty, i don't think you're going to get the same amount of traffic as you will when school is in session.

Dude you should really take down the ads under the search bar, that's the place for the thermometer and the charity poll. I think it kinda destroys the whole integrity of the site...
