I just wanted to say that I love the new voting/donation system. It's pretty awesome that SK found a way to make it so that everybody gets a piece of the pie and no matter which charity people vote for, all of them benefit just by virtue of those voters visiting the site. I think it's pretty ingenious, actually.
And all of the naysayers who think that the amounts being donated are too small simply need to spread the word about SK and the amounts will grow!

Syed, could you please add "PDH-Togo" to the list? It is an incredible non-profit organization in Togo that gives aid to almost every problem the Togolese face. Since there are only 4 volunteers, and none of them are paid, they cannot advertise well, so they need our help!
--Hi Max. Thanks for the suggestion. I just checked that organization out and it seems that they are a foreign non-profit. That doesn't mean that they aren't doing a great job, but it unfortunately does mean that we can't send them a donation. The IRS only wants us to donate to 501c3 organizations. Do you know if they have an American affiliate? --Syed

If you multiply this week by 4, it's a little over $600, which is more than what sk received last August.
In the summer months, without school, many use search engines less. Do you think this extra $50 has to do with the beginning of the school year or new users?
