Hey, what's with the thermometer?? Shouldn't it be shooting through the roof right now? Or havent you set that up yet? =) I'm just so proud we made it this month. Oh, and I digg now!!! You can digg it too!
--Doh! Sorry about that...just fixed it, but I didn't fix it like it should be fixed. I'll have to talk to Ramadev about putting up some kind of image that shows it exploding. Yeah, I'm pretty excited about hitting that goal, too. And just so everyone knows, I'm shooting for a Digg-date of April 4th at 10am.--Syed

I would love it if the search toolbar linked straight to results. I realize that you have ads on the homepage that need displaying, but is there a way to put ads on the search page and link there from the toolbar directly?
--Unfortunately, that just isn't possible. I wish I could do something to make that happen, but for the time being, all of the money is generated from the Search Kindly domain. The results page belongs to Google, so there's no way for us to change its appearance. I guess this is what microvolunteering is all about; mass toleration of a minor inconvenience.

I'm not a huge digger, but I was never under the impression that digg was for news articles only, but anything interesting (although I could be wrong). I even saw on the front page once someone's personal blogspot entry about a pretty photograph of the sky. I guess that's more of an article than a simple link to this site would be, but I'm not sure it matters as long as people digg it.

This is such a good thing that you guys are doing. I am really excited to see that you've already reached this month's goal. I put this address on my webpage so I hope I can help recruit some searchers. =)
I think that this is going to be really huge in to time!
--I agree with you wholeheartedly. Thanks for your comment.--Syed

I agree with John from VA... I think that an article similar to some of your blog entries would be the best bet. What Search Kindly is, the idea behind it, why it is different from others, and about the improvement of society as a whole. You really already have a good deal of material with the blog entries--just stick it together in a coherent way that'll push people's buttons.

I went to Digg.com. Is it all just news stuff? What relationship does it have with SK and if I sign up, how is it helping SK (or the charities)?
--Yes, Digg.com is basically a bunch of links to news articles. But they tend to be fairly interesting news articles because diggers vote on which articles get to make it to the front page.
Some time in the near future someone is going to submit SK to Digg.com and you can have a HUGE impact on the future success of SK by digging the SK submission. If we can get 52 diggs within 24-hours of the article being submitted, then chances are that SK will make it to the front page of Digg. According to my calculations, if we can get SK on the front page of Digg, we will be able to raise abut $300...in one day. And that doesn't take into consideration the residual effect of exposing so many people to Search Kindly, which could take us into the territory of raising thousands of dollars per month. Your help with this would be huge.--Syed

Why don't you keep it real instead of doing a stunt? For example, maybe right an article about progress, where humanity should concern itself with betterment, and how non-corporate (commercial) projects like SearchKindly are essential for the improvement of society as a whole.
--You've got a point there. I was just trying to figure out a way to grab as many votes as humanly possible. There tends to be a certain profile for the things that make the front page. But I'm game for keepting it real.--Syed

Is it possible to make the donations go to a specific school who is supporting Invisible Children's schools for schools program? If so you should choose Boulder Creek High school who is supporting and raising money for
Gulu High in Gulu Uganda!
--That could be something to think about for the future. Thanks for the suggestion.--Syed

Why would you have to add a video or (or whatever else) in order for us to digg it?
--Hmm...well, I've always noticed that the frontpage stuff tends to be something to read, not just links to interesting websites to check out. But I could be way off on this. If you think that we can just Digg the site, then I'm all for it. Any other diggers care to weigh in on this?--Syed
