I think Search Kindly is one of the coolest things ever. i like the idea of a monthly charity because it gives a chance to donate to many different kinds of things rather than just one or two. I would like to see charities come up more than once, though, for the simple reason that, although a 300$ donation is significant, there is still more that can be given. This is pretty much one of the coolest things ever. It gives me hope for the world :-D !

This site is such an amazing thing. It is so easy to use and people can not complain anymore about not having money! This just shows that there are ways to give if people out there are willing to try! I am spreading this all around and getting all of my friends to use this amazing site! Thank you for giving back!

It should be "whom we support," not "who we support."

The publicity is really helping... Only 4 days into the month, and you've already made $32 (and counting). I always use "Search Kindly" now, and I see a lot of other students doing the same.

I really think that the voting is a good idea. And if we can't choose ourselves then the monthly charity is really the best way to go. Thanks for taking the time to make this webpage, i still love it:)

Hi, I'm that Jessica-person! I just wanted to say thanks for noticing my editorial! I've gotten a bunch of my friends to set Search Kindly as their homepages, as well as the circulation desk computer at the library where I work. Every little bit helps, I'm sure! My editorial pretty much says how I feel about this venture, but kudos again anyway. This is very commendable, and I think the world would be a better place if more people used similar thought processes. (I did want to let you know that the link to the Susquehanna Web site is broken-it's most likely because the site won't open without the www. before susqu.edu.) Thanks again for putting this out there! :)

Hi Nicole, Thanks for your thoughts. Ramadev and I had been wrestling with that same option a little while back and the reason that we went with the "charity of the month" idea is because we'd really like to be able to make a donation that is worth something. If everyone was able to select their own charity, then the amount donated each month would be so small that it wouldn't even cover the cost of postage for the thank-you letter that the charities send. But you guys make this all possible and we're really interested in hearing about what is important to you, so please don't hesitate to let me know what your thoughts on this are. Within the next week or so, we're going to be adding a feature that will allow everyone to vote for the charity that should receive the donation at the end of the month--what do you all think about that? That way everyone has a say in who gets what and we are also able to make a decent donation at the end of the month. Thumbs up on that?

I was looking at your list of "who we support" and saw that you have alot on there already, and I was thinking that maybe you could in some way make it so that people can choose who they are raising money for rather than having a pre-selected charity each month. so that every one can support the cause that means the most to them. I stole the idea from goodsearch.com which is the yahoo version of this, but I like this one better, except for this one little option. Thanks :)
