Thank you guys, I would really appreciate it and I know the Grys family will too. If you want to, spreading the word will help. (Please read previous post for this to make sense)

Hey guys, a family in my community trying to get on the Extreme Home Makeover show on ABC. They have 7 kids including Jake, who has brittle bone disease, which has also stunted his growth. He is 8 yrs. old and goes to a normal school, but he is as small as a toddler. Because of this he cannot even open doors or turn on lights independently. If there was a fire,he would not be able to escape. He also breaks bones quite frequently because of his disease. So please sign the online petition.

The Children's Defense Fund (http://www.childrensdefense.org/site/PageServer) is a worthwhile organization to look into :)
Thanks!

Speaking of organizations that are pretty neat:
http://cantstoptheserenity.com/
http://www.freerice.com/
Can't stop the serenity is basically just a group that organizes screenings of the movie Serenity all over the world for charity.
Free Rice is more like this site in that uses money made off ads to help charity, except that it uses the money to buy rice and give them to people in need. Also instead of a search engine it's a vocabulary quiz where each right answer = 20 grains of free rice.

Please go to www.compassion.com for more information and thanks to SearchKindly for the $817.40 it raised that will be used to feed hungry children during this crisis. Go SearchKindly!

I agree with Lexi's idea for doing polls for a longer amount of time. Ultimately, the extra time would allow more money to be raised.
