I love the idea of your site but the web-page needs shining up and a softer look like the 50% charity search engine. Find some web designers for suggestions on making the web-page not so block-y. Have fun with your site and I guarantee others will to. USA president got elected by capturing the imagination of a younger generation; I'd start with university students wanting to make a splash and you'll be on your way. I understand saying sorry for this and that but sometimes there's no time for it.

I'm so sorry about the IRS thing man. Don't take it personally- just because they didn't approve you doesn't mean you aren't doing a great thing! Even if you choose to move on from SK, you guys have already done a hell of a lot of good.

Hang in there, we still have the old way of donating directly to causes! Don't forget that here in the good old US we have large populations of native Americans who don't have winter heat, children's books, libraries, decent roads, adequate diet, etc. etc. Even a couple of hundred $$ would make a real difference.

What a wonderful way to give money to charity and do good in these days of economic down turns.
I am happy to do my searching on this site to help others. Thanks for providing it and Bless You in all your efforts.

I have noticed that I tend to visit SK more often when there is a poll, so maybe that maybe other people would come more often as well. It may help to always have a poll up, even if the poll is just about something insignificant. I also believe that if you were to start an SK newsletter and email it to people who signed up, that it would remind us to visit searchkindly more often, and we could email it to other people, and, with the click of a button SearchKindly would get easy publicity.

dude/dudette, the adverts fund the charity contributions....navigate the site a bit, it will explain the concept

I really think this site is a great idea and it gives all it's money to charity, which is brilliant. I feel good knowing that while I'm just doing my normal surfing the web I can give to charity. However I dislike the adverts. I even use an adblocker and they won't go away - so ;(.

Hey, so what happened? A year or so ago, you guys were making close to $1000 a month. Now it's a stretch to make $300-400. Are people no longer visiting the site? Why the drop? Whatever the reason, thanks for not scrapping the idea, I love SK.
--The economy happened. The online advertising industry has really taken a nosedive. We used to get paid about 4-times as much for our ads than what we get right now. Ah well...what can you do? --Syed
