I was just interested if there was a way for each user to see how much they have helped to contribute? Anyways great site!

--That's something that we are definitely working. Unfortunately, I have no idea when we will be able to release the feature. Fingers-crossed. --Syed

I recommend Pro Mujer. Pro Mujer is an international microfinance and women’s development network whose mission is to provide Latin America’s poorest women with the means to build livelihoods for themselves and futures for their families through microfinance, business training, and healthcare support.

Pro Mujer fights poverty by establishing sustainable microfinance organizations that provide an integrated package of financial and human development services that women require to build and improve their small businesses.

Pro Mujer supports the health of its clients and their families and helps women build their self-esteem. The network also links women and their families with existing resources and services in their communities.

I was just wandering...If I do 2 searches in a row, do I have to go back to your main page for sk to get credit? Or can I type my second search in the google box?

--Unfortunately, with the changes in Google Custom Search policy, you have to come back to Search Kindly. We're hoping to negotiate something with Google in the future, but for right now we have our hands full with the IRS! (Trying to get tax-exempt status) --Syed

I love the new layout, but what else has been/going to change? I mean I saw the comment below about going to weekly donations, but I don't recall hearing about that...

--The only major change that we have scheduled for the near future is weekly donations. We're also looking to create a system that will allow everyone to donate half of what they raise to the charity of their choice--but we're still working out the kinks on that and trying to figure out when Ramadev might have enough time to build that new system out. --Syed

I love your new format. That said there is one problem that both your new and old format overlooked. Whenever the final poll ends at the end of the month on the homepage it says that that organization is the last winner of the poll and that all of the money from this month is going to them. In this last week of the month it is almost impossible to tell who this months money is actually going to. Please fix this when you have time.

--Yes, you're right about that--there is always a discrepancy toward the end of the month. But it is something that is going to be corrected at the end of the month--we're switching over to weekly donations (instead of the currently monthly ones). We're also going to start automating a lot of the updates; many of the errors that you see on the website now are a result of mistakes that I make when I manually update everything. --Syed

They must be, because on their website it says "Contributions to Compassion are 100% tax deductible for federal income tax purposes."
If they were not legit, than it would not be tax deductible.

Is Compassion International actually a certified nonprofit organization? I couldn't find info about that anywhere on their site...

--I don't rightly know--I haven't crosschecked it against the GuideStar database just yet. We use both GuideStar and also the IRS Publication 78--which doesn't have anywhere near as much information as GuideStar, but is probably more current. --Syed

Um just found something out...when i go to the results of my search, it goes to google not to your stuff with the ads? Problem or not?

--The reason that you are seeing that change in the results page is because Google just changed its Custom Search policy, so we had to make some adjustments. But to answer your question--no, it's not a problem. Not as good as the way it used to be, but not a real problem. --Syed
