To R from CA: That is the beauty of SK. If you don't want religious charities to get money, spend your time voting for other charities instead of whining. There are many Christian charities that do an amazing job. I suppose Compassion Int. shouldn't be in here because even though it helps MANY children in poverty, it also teaches them about Jesus. That's just sad. I sometimes don't understand how people vote to save horses over giving kids good water to drink, but hey, thats their opinion.

I'm sorry to see that Young Life is among the charities listed. I feel that it isn't fair to donate to spreading a particular religion (no offense meant). Sure it's great that they help teens, but I regret to say that I won't be using Search Kindly for the rest of this week because of it. Other than that you were doing a great job.

The link for the National Hemophilia Foundation is broken, both on the main voting page and the results page. Could you please fix it? I like to know more about the charities before I vote...

--Just fixed it--thanks for pointing it out. --Syed

Please consider adding The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) to your future polls.

RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. It was listed as One of “America’s 100 Best Charities" in Worth magazine.

They work with local crisis centers and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline as well as an online hotline.

Have you guys heard anything from Google yet about your search results page?

--We still haven't approached them to reverse their prior decision. We're waiting to hear back from the IRS first. The logic is that we might have more credibly with Google if we show them our tax-exempt status. --Syed

Thanks for all the work you do on this site. Please add the Glaucoma Research Foundation to your list. I have a friend who has had glaucoma since childhood, and it is a very painful disease.

Charity suggestion: Open Books! (www.open-books.org)
Open Books is Chicago's first nonprofit bookstore, literacy community center, and volunteer corps dedicated to raising awareness about illiteracy, improving reading skills, and spreading the love of books in Chicago and beyond.
We would love to benefit from the good work being done by SearchKindly!

--Sounds neat, I'll have to check the place out some time. --Syed

One of these is not like the others.....Why is "Young Life" a featured charity? Cant they subsidize their own christian gatherings?

Okay, sorry for all the comments, but one more thing:
For some reason your directions for InquisitorX aren't working:

Perhaps it's just my version of Safari, but there ISN'T a "Search" tab in preferences. Any ideas?

Hey! What happened to Buy Kindly? I feel like THAT has the potential to be even more of a moneymaker than the search option!

--The IRS said that we couldn't have Buy Kindly anymore--I'm not sure why they felt that way, but we were in no position to argue. --Syed
